  • Sustainable management of natural resources for achieving food, nutritional, environmental and livelihood security
  • Development of improved crop varieties / hybrids suited to diverse agro-ecologies and micro conditions
  • Genetic resources and development of improved cultivars with high quality characteristics, productivity, resistance to pest and disease and tolerant to abiotic stresses
